Terms of Service

1. The service

SmartPlot AI ("SmartPlot", "we") is a web application operated by TekDruid that analyses farm fields using satellite, soil, terrain and weather data from third-party sources.

By using SmartPlot AI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Not professional advice

Results, crop suggestions, yield and profit estimates, and AI-generated advice are decision support only. They are estimates built from remote data with known limits (for example 10 m satellite pixels, cloud cover, and modelled soil maps at about 250 m) and can be wrong.

SmartPlot AI does not replace inspection of your field, laboratory soil tests, product labels, or advice from a qualified agronomist or your local agricultural extension officer. You are responsible for decisions you make on your land, including fertilizer and pesticide use.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Free plan and fair use

The free plan includes a limited number of analyses per day and one saved field. Limits may change; the current limits are shown in the app.

Do not use automated scripts to access the service, attempt to bypass usage limits, resell the data, or interfere with the service or its data providers. We may suspend access that breaches these rules.

5. SmartPlot Pro subscriptions

Pro is billed through PayPal at the price shown on the pricing page (currently USD 25 per month or USD 249 per year). New subscribers get a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged if you cancel before it ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your PayPal account. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Pro includes a monthly allowance of AI analyses (currently 400). Unused analyses do not roll over.

We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it will apply from your next billing period.

6. Refunds

Because every new subscription starts with a free trial, payments are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error or the service was unavailable for a significant part of your billing period, email us within 14 days of the charge and we will review it.

This does not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer, including the EU right of withdrawal where it applies.

7. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the field boundaries and information you enter. You give us permission to process them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Satellite imagery and data remain subject to the licences of their providers, including Copernicus (ESA/EU), OpenStreetMap contributors, ISRIC and Open-Meteo.

8. Availability and changes

SmartPlot AI depends on third-party data services that can be slow, unavailable or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every data layer is available for every location.

We may change or remove features. We will update these terms when needed and show the date of the latest version at the top of this page.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and TekDruid is not liable for crop losses, lost profits or indirect damages arising from use of SmartPlot AI. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live.
